The letter [from Brian Cowen] which began: “I am writing to you in strictest confidence” was leaked to the media, apparently by British sources, as it was the copy in circulation that was sent to prime minister Gordon Brown.
If it was leaked by British sources, how is it that, according to The Google, only the Irish Times appears to have had access to the complete text of the letter?
